Summer is here, and in Richmond that means lots of great summer events to enjoy for the whole family.

The Festival on the Lake starts on Friday with a 45s card game which will take place at the Lakeside Community Centre in Sampsonville, starting at 7:30 p.m.

There will be prizes of home baking, only 50 cents per game.

On Saturday from 1-5 p.m., come to the Lakeside Community Center and take in the Quilt & Bed Covering Show. Come and view the beautiful display of quilts and bed coverings, including some lovely antique pieces.
