1 Running Wild With Bear Grylls 8:01 p.m. on (GLO); 11:01 p.m. on (CITV) (NBC)

Jesse Tyler Ferguson regularly provides laughs as Mitch on “Modern Family,” but little humor is found in the trek he undertakes with outdoor adventurer Grylls in this new episode. They head for the Italian Alps and the so-called “Mountain of Thunders,” the Croda dei Toni, where they must make their way down 6,000 feet of treacherous territory encompassing a frozen waterfall. Ferguson has plenty of time to share personal and professional thoughts with Grylls.

2 So You Think You Can Dance 9 p.m. on (ATV) (FOX)

The results of viewers having a voice become known for the first time this season in the new episode “Top 20 Perform and Elimination,” as the 20 stage and street dancers who got to this point of the competition show their stuff. However, they all won’t be here next week, since the tabulation of America’s voting reveals who’s being sent home. Judges Paula Abdul, Jason Derulo and Nigel Lythgoe also give their views. Cat Deeley is the host.

3 The Bachelorette 9 p.m. on (ABC)

You know the end of this series’ season is coming when the “The Men Tell All” edition is shown, and indeed, the finale airs next Monday — but first, it’s time for suitors already sent packing by Kaitlyn Bristowe to get their final shots in. Host Chris Harrison may have to play referee more than usual, since there was much discord among the fellows who all came into the dating show hoping to be the last one standing. In other words, sparks are bound to fly here.

4 2 Broke Girls 9 p.m. on (CBS)

“Rhoda” herself, veteran television talent Valerie Harper, guest stars in “And the Great Unwashed.” She plays a customer of Max and Caroline (Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs), who are surprised to learn she’s a celebrated photographer. That’s not all she’s kept under wraps, as the waitresses soon discover. Garrett Morris and Matthew Moy also star.

5 Cold Justice 10 p.m. on (BVO)

In “The Good Life,” Kelly, Yolanda and their team travel to West Palm Beach, Fla., to delve into a baffling murder case that attracted a lot of media attention at the time of the initial investigation. The victim was a former dancer who was cornered and shot in her own apartment.
