White Sox take silver

The Alexandra Street Turbo Delivery White Sox were doubled 10-5 by the Halifax Pepperjacks in the final of the 41st Billy Kennedy Memorial Fastball Tournament held in Guysborough on Sunday. Wade Googoo was the losing pitcher. Kier Sylliboy had two singles, Chris Keough slapped a triple, and Joe Lahey, Mark Comer and Ryan Keough had a hit apiece. The White Sox bested the Guysborough Broadhorns 3-1 in the semifinal. The White Sox face the Chant’s Funeral Home Cardinals in the Wagmatcook tournament final on Wednesday at St. Anthony Daniel Field at 8 p.m.
