Championsh­ip and division prizes, as well as major hole-in-one prizes including one for $25,000 on Saturday along a new automobile available to win each day. Tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday while Sunday will be a shotgun start for the majority of the field. Dinner following completion of play. Entry fee is $40 which can be paid at the pro shop. Closing date for entries is 6 p.m. on Thursday. • Lingan Golf and Country Club men's club championsh­ip, Aug. 1-2. Fee is $30 plus HST. Open to Lingan members only. Meal catered by Flavor 19 following completion of play on Sunday. Deadline for entries is Thursday. Must have valid Golf Canada handicap card to qualify for net prizes. Entries accepted at the pro shop, by phone by calling 902-562-1112 or online at www.lingangolf.com. • Lingan Golf and Country Club senior two-man scramble, Aug. 5, 9 a.m. shotgun start.
