Plea date scheduled on drug charges

SYDNEY — A Point Edward man secured bail Thursday after someone posted $10,000 in security. Jacob Rudderham, 20, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking involving cocaine and marijuana. The offences allegedly occurred Tuesday in Point Edward. Rudderham must now abide by a host of conditions, including he not possess any firearms or cellphone, abstain from drugs not prescribed him, and report to police once a week. Rudderham is set to enter pleas Aug. 25.
