Second Barra MacNeils show added

SYDNEY MINES — Due to the high demand, a second show has been added to celebrate the Barra MacNeils’ 30 years of music. Tickets are now available for a second concert on Thursday, Aug. 4, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Sydney Mines beginning at 7 p.m. “We couldn’t be more pleased, “said Rita Johnston, a member of St. Andrews board of managers. “This is their hometown, and the Barra MacNeils have also become a big part of St. Andrew’s. We are so honoured to host their 30th anniversary concerts, and it’s wonderful that they sold out in their home community.” Tickets are available at Sexton’s Pharmasave and What Women Want in Sydney Mines and Shoppers Drug Mart, North Sydney online at www.barramacneils.com and by email to f.johnston@bellaliant.net. Tickets purchased online will be at the door the night of the show. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30.
