Trial to resume in October

SYDNEY — The Supreme Court trial for an Eskasoni man charged with second-degree murder will now continue in October. The judge-alone trial has already sat for five days and when it resumes Oct. 3, it is scheduled for another week. Albert Michael Bernard, 36, is charged with the beating death of Dale Dennis, 36, on July 4, 2015 in Eskasoni.
