It is with great sad­ness that we, the fam­ily of Ed­ward ‘Ed­die’ John Pino say good bye to a won­der­ful, kind and lov­ing brother, un­cle and friend to many. Ed­die passed away in the An Cala unit at the C.B. Re­gional Hos­pi­tal on Fe­bru­ary 1, 2017 with his fam­ily at his side.

Born March 25th, 1939, he was the el­dest son of An­thony ‘Tony’ and An­nie Rose (Le­Blanc) Pino. Ed­die was a mem­ber of St. Theresa’s parish and he had such strong faith. He had great love for his fam­ily espe­cially his nieces and neph­ews. Ed­die loved mu­sic and was a beau­ti­ful ac­cor­dion player and loved to play the gui­tar as well. Many the fun times at home lis­ten­ing to mu­sic with all the fam­ily. Ed­die was a good ath­lete; he loved ball, espe­cially the Toronto Blue Jays, hockey and fish­ing.

He is sur­vived by his sis­ter, Bev­er­ley (Johnny) Wall; broth­ers, Harry, Ger­ald (Karen), Joseph (Claudette), Bernie (An­nette) and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

Spe­cial thanks to Dr. Greg My­att and nurse Jan­ice Black for all the years of won­der­ful care that Ed­die re­ceived. Also thank you to the Home Care Work­ers that cared for Ed­die each week. He looked so for­ward to your vis­its. Thank you also to the Pal­lia­tive Care unit, the ICU and IMCU at the C.B. Re­gional Hos­pi­tal. There will be no visi­ta­tion, a funeral mass will be cel­e­brated at 11 a.m. on Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 7, 2017 at St. Theresa’s Church with Rev. Den­nis Lamey of­fi­ci­at­ing. Inurn­ment at Res­ur­rec­tion Ceme­tery, Syd­ney Forks.
