It is will great sor­row that we an­nounce the sudden pass­ing of Peter Vin­cent MacLean, 78 of Wagmatcook. Peter passed away on February 9, 2017 at Vic­to­ria County Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal.

Born July 18, 1938 in Toronto, On­tario he was the son of the late Vin­cent J. and Pearl (Ab­bott) MacLean.

Peter owned and op­er­ated MTM Signs in Toronto, On­tario for many years, af­ter his re­tire­ment he re­turned to Wagmatcook. He had a won­der­ful sense of hu­mor and loved telling sto­ries. Peter could be con­sid­ered a frus­trat­ing man with his tell it how it is per­son­al­ity. He will be deeply missed and for­ever loved by those who knew him.

He is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife of 44 years, Yvonne Pierro; chil­dren, Anika Braith­waite, Stew­ard Pierro, Jen­nifer Pierro, Mi­randa Pierro, Mandy Cur­rell, Patty Stevens (Shawn), Bob (Rob) Car­roll, Chris MacLean, Tammy MacLean, Sharon Car­roll, Valerie Car­roll, Linda Car­roll and Deb­bie Car­roll; grand­chil­dren, Ta­panga, Ay­den, Jenika, Jack­lynn, Kelly, Jen­nifer, Jul­liet, Cindy and Cassie, as well as great grand­chil­dren and many nieces and neph­ews.

Peter was pre­de­ceased by a sis­ter, Yvonne Doyle.

Vis­i­ta­tion for the late Peter MacLean will be­gin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14 at the Elder Cen­tre, Wagmatcook. A prayer ser­vice will be held for Peter at 11 a.m. on Thurs­day, February, 16 also at the Elder Cen­tre, Wagmatcook.
