Accused facing drug offence

NORTH SYDNEY — A 58-year-old North Sydney man is to return to provincial court next week after being charged with a drug offence.

Daniel Alexander Fitzgerald, of William Street, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine.

The offence is alleged to have occurred Feb. 16 in North Sydney. Fitzgerald, who is now on remand, is to return to court Feb. 28.
