Kelsea re­cently started a new role as the sales and prod­uct de­vel­op­ment man­ager with Des­ti­na­tion Mem­ber­tou. She hails from the com­mu­nity of New Water­ford and is ex­cited about the new and grow­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties in the com­mu­nity of Mem­ber­tou. Kelsea is an ac­tive mem­ber of her com­mu­nity, spend­ing her leisure time with or­ga­ni­za­tions like Ro­tary, the Cape Bre­ton Univer­sity Alumni As­so­ci­a­tion, and en­joy­ing time with fam­ily and friends. What tal­ent would you most like to have: The abil­ity to play an in­stru­ment, par­tic­u­larly the gui­tar.

Cof­fee or Tea: Tea all the way.

What is your favourite food: I love ev­ery­thing that is food- ha! Pizza is high on the list. Favourite movie: Sleep­less in Seat­tle. Favourite music: A mix - John Mayer is al­ways at the top of my playlist.

Favourite book: I have many. Re­cently read An­nette Ver­schuren’s “Bet On Me” – bril­liant. Pet Peeve: The Cape Bre­ton Rant Room on Face­book.

Which trait in peo­ple do you most ad­mire:

I adore gen­uine and authen­tic in­di­vid­u­als be­ing true to them­selves no mat­ter what. What is your motto or favourite say­ing: I am of­ten heard say­ing that I have “Joy in my soul” mean­ing some­thing makes me happy or pleased. What is your favourite thing about Cape Bre­ton: The peo­ple, the ex­pe­ri­ences, and run­ning into ev­ery­one you know through the aisles of Sobeys.

Where is your favourite place to travel: I have en­joyed trav­el­ling to many dif­fer­ent places, my favourite to date is Italy.
