-

We the family of the late Nina “Edith” McIntyre, wish to express our sincere appreciation to our families, friends and neighbours for your acts of kindness, sympathy and prayers during our recent loss. Many thanks to those who visited, phoned, sent flowers, food, Mass and sympathy cards, charitable donations and online condolences and sharing memorable stories of ma. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Glace Bay General Hospital Emergency Room and 3-West for the excellent care given to our mother, keeping her comfortable and peaceful in her final hours and helping us through this difficult time. We are grateful to Dr. Jamie MacLean and staff of Taigh Na Mara Nursing Home who cared for ma the past two and a half years. To Trevor and staff of T.J. Tracey Funeral Home, thanks for your professionalism, kindness, compassion and guidance. You went above the expectations! Sincere thanks to the readers; grandsons, Shaun MacIntyre and Matthew McIntyre and daughter-in-law, Anne Marie McIntyre.

We will be eternally grateful to Fr. Norman MacPhee for his prayers at the hospital and funeral home and for the funeral service. To Immaculate Conception Church Choir, organist, altar servers, gift bearers and to the brave souls who attended ma’s Funeral Mass, in spite of inclement weather, you were all appreciated and it truly showed how much ma was loved by all of you! Thank you to Debbie and Linda Tracey for the luncheon and reception at the funeral home following the service.

God Bless you all. Warren, Allan, Doug, Marlene and families. “R.I.P. among the angels”
