REASHORE, Kevin

-

Bras d’Or

It is with so much sadness that we, the family of Kevin Reashore, 60, announce his passing on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Born in North Sydney on October 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Daniel and Marie (Guy) Reashore.

Kevin, a die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf fan since he was a kid, was a fighter right to the end. We’ll miss him and his sense of humour terribly, but Mom will take over from here.

Kevin is survived by his (rock) daughter, Chelsey (Adam), Halifax and his (star) son, Noah. He was so proud of you both. Kevin is also survived by his brothers, Billy (Susan), Terry (Stephanie), South Shore, Blair (Debbie) and his best bud and bro, Donnie (Pam); sisters, Karen, Sandra, Eileen and Patti (Paul MacDonald); many nieces and nephews who loved him a lot and by many of the greatest friends a guy could ask for.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Brian and a brother, Terrance in infancy.

Visitation for Kevin Reashore will be held on Monday (today), March 27, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines.

A celebration of his life will take place Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating.

Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www. jmjobesfuneralhome.com.
