A woman of strong faith, her bible was well worn and marked. Her long life was filled with activities which displayed her many talents and interests. She was ‘Ma’ to grandsons, Arthur Wilson (Rayeen), Dartmouth and Douglas Wilson (Wendy) and great-grandson, Arthur Wilson Jr., Mt. Uniacke; sister-in-law, Evangline MacGillivray, Brockville, Ont.

Rhodena was predeceased by her husband, Truman Clark (1998) after nearly 58 years of marriage; her parents, Philip and Hilda MacGillivray and brother, James MacGillivray.

The family will be forever filled with gratitude to Dr. J. MacKillop, Sherry MacNeil and the staff at ‘My Cape Breton Home’, our cousin, Harold Clark and especially, the compassionate care and attention received at 4B and An Cala units of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 30 from 1-2 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Captain Cory Vincent officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.

In ‘Mom’s’ honour, the family would appreciate donations to the Gabarus Lightkeepers Society, the Gabarus Volunteer Fire Department or the Gabarus Community Center.
