She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph ‘Allie’ MacKinnon; daughter, Marilyn (Gordon) Huntington, Marion Bridge; son, Barry MacKinnon, Sydney; grandchildren, Steven and Susan Huntington, Halifax; her wonderful sister Catherine (Johnny) Facchin, Dominion; her very special niece, Joanne MacKinnon, Dartmouth, and her best furry friend “Newman”.

To her many nieces and nephews, she loved each and every one of you.

She was employed by Scotiabank and worked at the Sydney Shopping Center until her retirement, where she made many great and long lasting friendships.
