Sentencing date for Sydney Mines man

SYDNEY — A 43-year-old Sydney Mines man is to be sentenced next week after being found guilty on several offences.

William George Ford of Church Street was found guilty on five counts of breaching court orders and single counts of theft under $5,000, impersonation, impaired driving, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace (a shotgun) and unlawful entry.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2016 and earlier this year in North Sydney. Sentencing is now set for May 29.
