The family of the late Helen T. (Gallant) MacEachern would like to thank the many people who helped to support us during her brief illness and passing.

To her caregivers, Mrs. Bernadette Gillis, Doctors, nurses and staff of the emergency department of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Dr. Crosby, Dr. MacLeod, Dr. Keating, Dr. Coakley, Dr. MacDonald, Gian and Aileen, thank you for your professional care of our mother.

Thanks and gratitude to Mrs. Helen Gallant, Denise Gallant, Joan MacEachern, Lauren Furdas, Linda Simmons, granddaughter Mary Ellen Boudreau, St. Theresa’s Choir and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing Honour Guard for your participation in Helen’s Funeral Mass.

To family, friends, neighbours and Helen’s former work colleagues, thank you for your visits, phone calls, Mass cards, cards, flowers, gifts of food and donations to Cape Breton Palliative care and St. Theresa’s Food bank.

To Father Dennis Lamey of St. Theresa’s Parish and TW Curry Parkview Chapel, our appreciation to you for your compassion and professionalism during this difficult time.

To all those who attended Helen’s funeral, we are deeply appreciative for your thoughtfulness and consideration of Mom. Though she is gone, she will never be truly gone from our hearts and minds.
