We, the family of the late John David Romeo, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to each and every one during our recent great loss on May 17th, 2017.

To those who sent food to our homes, dropped by for hugs, shared memories, honored John at the Funeral Mass, for all the phone calls, Mass and sympathy cards and to those who made donations in John’s memory we are truly grateful. Thank you to John’s cousin Fr. Ray Huntley for blessing John at the hospital and the beautiful Funeral Mass along with Fr. J.J. MacDonald and Fr. Oliver. Also thanks to the Holy Family Parish choir and C.W. L. for the lunch. Thank you to the readers, Beverly Romeo and Jessica Guinn; honor guard, Brian O’ Toole and Stacy Cox. To John’s brother, Dale, for honoring John by carrying his ashes in full uniform, John would be so proud. To Eleanor Cooke, Debbie Gwinn and Darlene Macleod for your strength, love and support, thank you. To Jobes Funeral Home for their professionalism and compassion during our time of sorrow, thank you. And to the Cape Breton Cancer Center, Palliative Care and An Cala staff, thank you for your care and compassion. A very special thank you to Dr. Khodadad who went above and beyond, Dr. M. D’Intino and Dr. L. Wood for endless hope and care. We thank you all.
