The Cape Breton FC under-13 ‘AA’ girls battled to a pair of ties with Halifax City over the weekend. Faith Pelley scored for Cape Breton in a 1-1 draw on Sunday, while the sides went scoreless on Saturday. The U15 ‘AAA’ girls suffered a 3-1 defeat to Halifax City on Sunday. Avery MacKinnon had the lone tally. They also lost 4-1 to Halifax City on Saturday, as Julia Currie scored. The U15 ‘AA’ boys posted a 3-1 win over Halifax City on Sunday, as Isaac Parnaby, Daniel Nemis and Conor Chiasson netted singles. Saturday, they lost 4-2 to Dartmouth FC, as both Aaron MacLean and John Lahey hit the scoresheet.
