Bail hearing set on breach charges

SYDNEY — A Scotchtown woman charged with assault offences is scheduled to have a bail hearing today after being charged with breaching her release conditions. Jocelyn Arlene Fahey, 42, of Cashin Crescent, was charged in May with assault, aggravated assault and breaching a court order.

The offences involve a male complainan­t and were alleged to have been committed on May 9 in Scotchtown.

Fahey had undergone a 30-day psychiatri­c assessment and was deemed fit to stand trial. She was released on conditions while awaiting trial on the charges. The breach offences are alleged to have occurred earlier this week.
