Bail hearing set on breach charges
SYDNEY — A Scotchtown woman charged with assault offences is scheduled to have a bail hearing today after being charged with breaching her release conditions. Jocelyn Arlene Fahey, 42, of Cashin Crescent, was charged in May with assault, aggravated assault and breaching a court order.
The offences involve a male complainant and were alleged to have been committed on May 9 in Scotchtown.
Fahey had undergone a 30-day psychiatric assessment and was deemed fit to stand trial. She was released on conditions while awaiting trial on the charges. The breach offences are alleged to have occurred earlier this week.
