PETERS TO COMPETE

Kent Peters, head coach Zombie Proof Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts in Sydney, will face James Harnish of Marmac Athletics in the Chokes by the Ocean submission series event in Pictou on Saturday. The 34-year-old from Mira Road will compete for the first time since hitting the ring for the Submission Series 902 event held in New Glasgow in Jan. 2015. Peters lost to Gavin Tucker of Halifax at the event, who has since gone on to fight in the featherweight division in UFC.
