GLACE BAY - Town House is offering a wide variety of courses to the community and is open to requests for new courses. To register for any courses phone 902-849-2449. The following courses are scheduled regularly and registrati­ons are accepted on an ongoing basis: t 4BGF #PBUJOH "T SFRVJSFE CZ MBX all those who operate a pleasure craft including Sea Doos are required to obtain their Pleasure Craft Operator Card. Safe boating courses are offered through spring and summer. Cost is $65. t #BCZTJUUJOH 5IF CBCZTJUUJO­H course is open to those 11 years of age and older who would like to develop their skills in looking after smaller children. The course runs for one day and costs $40. t 'JSTU "JE $13 4U +PIO "NCVlance’s Standard First Aid and Level C CPR course is given over a two-day period and the cost is $110 which includes AED. t %FGFOTJWF %SJWJOH 5IJT DPVSTF meets the requiremen­ts of Nova Scotia’s exit from the Graduated Licensing Program. The Registry of Motor Vehicles may deduct up to four points from the record of a driver who has successful­ly completed a defensive driving course within the preceding year. Fee is $75.
