Alexis leaves behind her husband John; beloved children, Caitlin (Matthew), Ailig and Logan, as well as father, John David Bennett ‘Lefty’; brother, Todd Bennett (Laura), and their children, Katherine, Kyle and Emily; grandfather, Frank Janes ‘Gramp’. Alexis will be forever missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Alexis was predeceased by her best friend and mother, Claudine ‘Leannie’ Bennett; her grandmother, Margaret Janes; grandparents, Alex and Mary Bennett and parents-in-law, Carmel Margaret ‘Marge’ and Neil John Gillis.

Her legacy is one of love, quiet selflessness and pride of her children. After her family, she devoted herself to her career at Bell Aliant (MT&T) for 27 years, an invaluable employee and volunteer with the Aliant Pioneers.
