EAGLES FINISH PRE-SEASON ON THE ROAD; COUGARS BEGIN SEASON ON THE ROAD

In QMJHL pre-season action, the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles will be on the road for a pair of games this weekend. The team will be in Montaque, P.E.I. today to play the Charlottetown Islanders at 7 p.m. at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre. Cape Breton will also play the Moncton Wildcats on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the JK Irving Centre in Bouctouche, N.B.

In Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League action, the Joneljim Cougars will begin their season this weekend with games in Liverpool and St. Margaret’s Bay. The Cougars will play the Western Hurricanes today at 5 p.m., before facing The Gulls on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
