We regret to announce the sudden passing of Sharon Lee LeBlanc, 44, on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Born in Sydney Mines on August 18, 1973, she was the daughter of Helen Hennessey and Kenneth Matheson.

Sharon worked at the Kinsmen Daycare Center for 14 years. She was very proud of her children. She enjoyed walking on the beach.

She leaves behind her husband, Troy LeBlanc; daughter, Sarah (Ben Smith), Halifax, and her son, James (Courtney Marsh), Sydney Mines. She is also survived by her sister, Tanya (Daniel Hillier); special nephew, Kenneth John Matheson; many nieces and nephews, and her father-in-law, Philip.

She was predecease­d by her sister, Sheila; her special aunt, Bernadette and her mother-inlaw, Reynelda LeBlanc.

Visitation for Sharon LeBlanc will be held in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines, on Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

A celebratio­n of her life will take place Monday, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. J.J. MacDonald officiatin­g.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
