FILM SERIES COMES TO SYDNEY

Cineplex screening travel fare, beginning Monday

The brand-new Passport to the World series will be presenting travel movies at Cineplex Sydney starting on Monday at 7 p.m.

Throughout the 2017-18 season, travellers and moviegoers alike will be able to discover or rediscover the nooks and crannies of eight locations, including Vietnam, the Yukon, Bolivia and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley in France.

Passport to the World films are presented in high-definition, 5.1 surround sound and all for the price of a standard movie ticket.

To start the season off, the movie “Vietnam: In the Eye of the Dragon” explores the country’s attraction­s, including Ha Long Bay, the Imperial City of Hue and the floating markets of the Mekong Delta. The film also explores the more remote areas of the north, where the Mountain Princesses live in the country sides.

The other films in the series include:

• Puerto Rico – Monday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m. • Armenia – Monday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m. • Yukon – Monday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m. • Bolivia – Monday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m. • The Atlantic by catamaran – Monday, Feb. 12, 7 p.m. • Utah – Monday, March 5, 7 p.m. • Loire castles (France) –
