Rayanne Rogers will celebrate her one-year anniversar­y in her current position at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cape Breton Whitney Pier Youth Club in November. She has been working with the organizati­on since 2009 when she was hired for the playground project. After that she joined the board of directors while also volunteeri­ng for other community organizati­ons. Even while being a stay-at-home mom, Rogers was volunteeri­ng so much it was like her full-time job and her way to give back to the community she loves.
