GLACE BAY
9 a.m.-12 p.m., Shred day at 135 Reserve St. Scotia Recycling will be at the Cape Breton Credit Union Reserve St. branch to shred any personal or confidential documents you want destroyed. This event is for the whole community. 10:30-11 a.m., Storytime at the Glace Bay Library for all children, ages 3 and up.
11 a.m.-1 p.m., UCW of Knox United Church will hold their fall fair with a bake table, country store, book sale and fish pond. A soup lunch will also be available. Everyone welcome.
2 p.m., St. Agnes Fall Fair and roast beef dinner. Tickets available at the parish office.
2-4 p.m., Fall hours for the Glace Bay Heritage Museum in the Old Town Hall, including Isabelle Harris Gift Shop and book store, located at 14 McKeen St., are in effect. For information call, 902-842-5345. 4-8 p.m., Kitchen Party, Army and Navy Club.
