Sportfishing on agenda
BADDECK — Sportfishing enthusiasts will have an opportunity to provide input on ensuring the recreational activity remains healthy and sustainable in Nova Scotia.
The recreational fishing advisory council will host a meeting in Baddeck today.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Inverary Resort and Ceilidh Country Lodge. The meetings are intended for anglers, sport fishing organizations, community groups, enforcement officials and researchers to exchange information and to provide a forum of discussion on special management areas, fieldwork activities, and promotion of development of the sport fishery.
Other meetings are scheduled for Antigonish, Halifax, Shelburne, Berwick and Truro in the coming weeks.
