JUNIOR MINERS CLIP SCOTIANS

The Kameron Junior Miners were outshot, but not outscored as they edged the Pictou Scotians 3-1 on Sunday in Trenton. Mitchell Johnson scored two power play goals and Kelly Yates added an empty net marker to lead the Miners (12-2-0-1). Pictou outshot the Miners 45-31, but goalie Kaine Drake was superb in making 44 saves.
