COLESKI, William Christopher (Chris)

-

We regret to announce the passing of our dear brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Chris Coleski, 46, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Born in Sydney Mines on July 14, 1971, he was the son of the late Michael and Madonna (MacKinnon) Coleski.

Chris worked as a fisherman for many years, and was employed at the Northside Processing Plant Ltd. until present. Much like his father, Chris was a “Jack of all trades”. He was always quick to offer his hand if help was needed. He was a proud father and grandfather, and cherished his little dog, Shadow. He will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Left to mourn are his children, Christopher and Marsha; grandchildren, Landon, Rowen, Kohan, and Kaiden, and his first granddaughter, due in January. Chris is also survived by his sisters, Michele, Jo-Anne (Butch), and Mary, all of Sydney Mines; brothers, Michael (Arlene), Halifax, Ron (Ella), Millville, and Blair (Leigh-Anne), Windsor, NS, many nieces and nephews, and his life friend and mother of his children, Mary MacLeod.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Gerard, Briana and Devin.

Cremation has taken place. His family will receive visitors in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Main St., Sydney Mines, on Friday, November 17, 2017, from 2-3 p.m.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www. jmjobesfuneralhome.com.
