GLACE BAY

Glace Bay Lions are at the Sterling Mall accepting donations of used and new children’s clothing for those who need it.

9 a.m.-12 p.m., A fundraiser Christmas craft and bake show will be held at Bethel Family Church, 85 Reserve St. Free admission. 10:30-11 a.m., Storytime at the Glace Bay Library for all children, ages 3 and up.

2-4 p.m., Fall hours for the Glace Bay Heritage Museum in the Old Town Hall, including Isabelle Harris Gift Shop and book store, located at 14 McKeen St., are in effect. For informatio­n call, 902-842-5345. 4-8 p.m., Kitchen Party, Army and Navy Club.

NEW WATERFORD

1-6 p.m., Combined Christmas Giving Telethon will be held at the Rack & Roll Billiards from 1-6 p.m. and an auction to follow.

CATALONE

2-3:30 p.m., Christmas tea and sale at Catalone Recreation Centre. Homemade beef soup, sweets, crafts and bake table.

3 p.m., Annual Advent Afternoon of Song in support of Camp MacLeod at St. James Presbyteri­an Church. Tea and fellowship to follow the program.

7:30 p.m., Tarabish, Shamrock Club, Commercial Street. All money returned in prizes.

GLACE BAY

11 a.m., (CD) AA Glace Bay Alano meeting, Rear 10 McKeen St. 7 p.m., Christmas concert at Holy Cross Church on Seaview St. Admission is $10. Performers will include Sheldon Chant, Aaron Lewis, Kimberly Fraser, Joe Fahey, Sheldon Dedieu, Mar-Lee Boone and Mario Colosimo. Tea, hot apple cider and sweets will be served. 8 p.m., (CS) AA Glace Bay Alano Group meeting, Rear 10 McKeen St. (OS last Sunday of the month) 8 p.m., 45s at Glace Bay Seniors and Pensioners Hall.
