Anne E. MacCuish, 61, of Greenbush Hill Road, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital after an unexpected medical event at home.

Sharing her memories are her husband, Neil ‘Buddy’ MacCuish, whom she married April 25, 1976; her two children, Catherine MacCuish and her son, Jason MacCuish and Neil F. (Danielle) MacCuish and their daughter, Brooklyn MacCuish all of Randolph, MA; four siblings, Patricia Hanrahan of Pennsylvan­ia, Cathy (Jimmy) Mills of Manhattan, James MacIsaac of Orange County, NY and Kevin (Stacey) MacIsaac of Surprise, NY, and sister-in-law, Linda MacCuish of Cape Breton, NS.

Along with her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her brother, John, and baby sister, Colleen.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. A Celebratio­n of Life will commence at 2 p.m. immediatel­y following the visitation, with Rev. David Houck officiatin­g.

Reception to follow immediatel­y after at Eagles’ Club, 87 Legion Drive, Cobleskill, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in any amount to continue an initiative Anne held close to her heart. Through a partnershi­p with Anne’s CART (County Animal Response Team) Unit and Pet Tracks Pet Services, Anne was working to provide Pet Oxygen Mask to all of the county fire department­s and emergency responders. Any additional funds collected beyond those needed to for the oxygen masks and blankets for the kits will be used towards Anne’s other animal projects.

Cheques can be made to the Bank of Richmondvi­lle with a note in the memo line to “The Benefit of Anne MacCuish”. A collection box will be available during Anne’s Celebratio­n of Life and Reception.
