Cape Breton Jets to host first-ever NSMMAAAHL provincial championships

NEW WATERFORD — Hockey Nova Scotia announced this week the Cape Breton Jets will host the Nova Scotia Minor Midget ‘AAA’ Hockey League provincial championships.

The tournament will be held March 22-25 at the New Waterford and District Community Centre in New Waterford.

The event will feature all seven teams in the league including the host Jets, Basin Armada, Dartmouth Voyageurs, Admirals, Sackville/ East Hants ChiroCare Kings, Valley Wildcats and MU Rhino Renovations. Hockey Nova Scotia also announced Monday that this year’s Day of Champions games will be held at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro for teams in the atom ‘AA’, atom ‘A’, female atom ‘AA’, female atom ‘A’, atom ‘B’, peewee ‘AA’, peewee ‘A’, female peewee ‘A’, peewee ‘B’, bantam ‘A’, female bantam ‘A’, bantam ‘B’, midget ‘A’, and midget ‘B’ divisions.
