Trial set on fishery offences for Sydney Mines men
SYDNEY — Two Sydney Mines men are to return to provincial court in June for a trial on fishery charges.
Larry Fraser, 70, of MacDonald Crescent, and Ronald MacDonald, 62, of York Street, are charged with purchasing, selling or possessing fish caught in contravention of the Act and with fishing for lobster by a prohibited method.
The offences are alleged to have occurred Aug. 27 at Indian Beach in North Sydney. Both are now set to stand trial on the charges June 14.
