Jets Johnson, Wilson and Syms named to minor midgets selects team

SYDNEY — A pair of Cape Breton Jets players will suit up for the Nova Scotia Minor Midget ‘AAA’ Hockey League Selects, who will participate in The Chronicle Herald East Coast Ice Jam next month in Bedford. Forwards Jason Johnson of Eskasoni and Adam Wilson of River Ryan will play for the Selects team, while Brandon Syms will be an assistant coach of the team.

The tournament, which attracts scouts from across eastern Canada and the United States, will take place Jan. 10-14.
