Weather conditions force Marine Atlantic to change schedule

NORTH SYDNEY — High winds have forced Marine Atlantic to make changes to its upcoming sailing schedule for today.

The crossings, scheduled from North Sydney to Port aux Basques, N.L., for today at 11:45 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. have been changed to Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Meanwhile, both runs from Port aux Basques to North Sydney for today have also been changed to Thursday at 11:45 a.m.

Marine Atlantic is also advising its customers of potential cancellations for Thursday due to weather conditions in the Cabot Strait.

The company says crossings from North Sydney to Port aux Basques, scheduled for Thursday at 12:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., could be affected. Both runs from Port aux Basques to North Sydney on Thursday may also be affected.
