Victoria County announces holiday hours and collection information

BADDECK, N.S. – The Municipality of Victoria County recently announced its hours and collection schedule for the holiday season.

The Baddeck Recycling Depot will be closed Jan. 1 and 2. Meanwhile, the Baddeck Transfer Station will be closed on Jan. 1.

The New Haven Recycling Depot will be closed Jan 1 and 2. The Dingwall Transfer Station will be shutdown Jan. 1-2. Meanwhile, garbage collection for the communities of Boularderie, Ross Ferry, Kempt Head, Big Bras d’Or, New Campbellton, New Harris, Englishtown, South Haven, Big Harbour and Port Bevis will be moved to today, while collection for North Shore, Cape Smokey and Ingonish has been moved to Dec. 28. Boularderie, Ross Ferry, Kempt Head, Big Bras d’Or, New Campbellton, New Harris, Englishtown, South Haven, Big Harbour and Port Bevis has also been moved from Jan. 1 to Jan. 3. The Baddeck courthouse will be closed until Jan. 1, reopening on Jan. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
