Sydney man to be sentenced on multiple charges

SYDNEY — A Sydney man will be sentenced Feb. 1 while charges against a coaccused were withdrawn. Stanley Neville Gillis, 29, pleaded guilty to 12 charges, including seven counts of breaching court orders, two counts of failing to attend court, two counts of dangerous driving and a single count of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking were withdrawn against Jennifer Lynn MacNeil, 31, of Sydney.
