It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmothe­r and sister who passed away peacefully at her home on January 19, 2018 at the age of 52.

Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Roddie and Matilda (Dennis) Googoo. She was a fighter with her illness. She also loved playing bingo and cards with family and friends. Her favourite hockey team was the Boston Bruins.

Rose is survived by her sons, KJ (Vanna) and David (Jenny); daughters, Lisa (Lonnie), Tiffany (Matt) and Tillie; grandchild­ren, Kayla, TinTin, Lonnie jij, Carter, Isabella, Khloe, Khristophe­r Jonah, who was her baby boy, Letoya, who was her little helper and angel, Ashlee, Baby Arron, MacKenzie, Baby A.J, Nicole, Dobit jij, and greatgrand­son, Baby Neil. She is also survived by sisters, Clara (Anthony), Barbara (David), Linda, Doreen, Karen (Calvin), Florence (Clarence), Anita and Laura; brothers, Rodrick (Christine), Ryan (Hazel), Raymond, Francis (Dorothy) and Stephen (April); long life partner, Danny Francis; stepdaught­er, Madeleine Landry; godchildre­n, Daelyn and Sion, and godparent, Viney Sapier. Rose is also survived by her best friends, Lindsay Paul Sr. and Sean Ryan Paul.

She was predecease­d by brothers, Robert and Kenny; sisters, Isabell, Susie Jane, Annie Bridget and Sheila; her son, Lawrence; stepson, Stefhan, and godfather, Levi Joe.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 7 p.m. at her residence 64 Logan Dr., Eskasoni.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Fr. Martin MacDougall officiatin­g. Interment in Holy Family parish cemetery at a later date.
