Pets: Cat, Scatty. Nickname: I’m sure lots of people have names to call me, but none that have stuck. First job: Paper boy for the Cape Breton Post. What talent would you most like to have: I’d love to play piano better. Coffee or tea: Peppermint Tea. What is your favourite food: Beef Tikka Masala from Mians Restaurant.

Favourite movie: “Beautiful Girls” or “Dirty Work.”

Favourite music: Attack in Black, Constantin­es, The Clash, Paul Simon, John Prine, to start.

Favourite books: “Shannara” saga by Terry Brooks, Harry Potter, and “Reading in the Dark” by Seamus Deane.

Pet peeve: People who react negatively to our community without just reason. What is something you like to do in your leisure time:

scene. Some of the most talented individual­s in the world. Favourite place to travel in Cape Breton:

How can you decide? Love the drive from Whycocomag­h to Mabou, or from Little Narrows to Iona. Black Brook Beach, Inverness Beach. Granville Green for music, Fortress of Louisbourg for time travel. My favorite places in Cape Breton are right here at home, though. St Patrick’s Church Museum, Wentworth Park, The Upstairs Club, and the Highland Arts Theatre. Favourite place to travel outside of Cape Breton: Loved our visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Universal Orlando), but I’m more of a homebody.
