BROWN NAMED CAPERS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

North Sydney’s Hannah Brown of the Cape Breton Capers women’s basketball team was named the Steel City Sports Bar & Steakhouse Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 11. Brown, a fourth-year forward, scored 15 points to go along with 14 rebounds and four assists in the Capers’ 61-48 win over the Dalhousie Tigers on Friday. Saturday, she scored 15 points and recorded 10 rebounds and three steals as the Capers defeated the Acadia Axewomen, 84-83.
