Sydney man enters guilty pleas

SYDNEY — A 60-year-old Sydney man has pleaded guilty to charges of dangerous driving and breaching a court order. Francis John Abbass was to stand trial on eight charges but instead pled guilty to two offences that occurred in Sydney last June.

Abbass is to return to court Thursday for another trial on drug trafficking charges. He also has a third trial set for Feb. 21 on drug charges.

Abbass, who continues to be on remand, is to return to court Thursday.
