Celtic Colours fall venues announced
SYDNEY – It’s never too early to plan ahead, say organizers of the Celtic Colours International Festival.
Taking place each October, the festival recently unveiled its long list of venues to give fans ample time to prepare.
This year’s schedule is a mix of nighttime concerts and afternoon matinees, including four licensed shows and the nightly festival club at Colaisde na Gàidhlig/the Gaelic College in St. Anns.
The Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay and the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site will be among the featured performance spaces, while dozens of concerts will be spread across 34 communities on the island. The festival opens this year in Port Hawkesbury on Oct. 5. It wraps up Oct. 13 at Centre 200. For the full list of concert venues, visit www. celtic-colours.com.
