As February came to an end I spent some time with family and friends at my grandson’s birthday party and I was really impressed by the location they had picked for his party.

I think back to my kid’s parties and the time I put into what I would plan to make the party fun for the kids. Holding the party at the Stay and Play Café, which is the only indoor playground in Richmond County, took all that stress away since the kids played from the moment they got their coats off and ran into the play area.

They have everything there that little kids could want. So if you are looking for a perfect place to have a play date for your child, birthday party or to celebrate a family gathering, look no further than the Stay and Play Café in the Louisdale Industrial Park.

The site is amazing. It’s clean, well maintained with lots of parking and space for the kids to play. The facility boasts a 1,250 square foot play space with sections for infants/toddlers and older children up to age 10. There is also a small lounge area for parents where they can have coffee or tea and free WiFi.

If you’re expecting visitors this summer who have small children and you’re wondering what to do with them when the weather is wet, the Stay and Play Café would be a good place for indoor activities. Just give the staff of the Stay and Play Café 24 hours notice.

The Stay and Play Café is now open by appointments only for play dates and private rentals including events such as birthday parties, private play dates, family gatherings, movie nights and so forth. It’s currently operating play dates and rentals by appointment only. For information on how to initiate a play group or for information on prices, availability and rules for rentals go to their website, www.stayandplaycafe.ca, email them at info@stayandplaycafe.ca or call Tyler Shea at (902) 345-2624.
