Hall of fame nominations close Thursday

SYDNEY — Nominations for the Cape Breton Business and Philanthropy Hall of Fame close on Thursday.

The hall of fame recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding Cape Breton business leaders and philanthropists — those community leaders and builders who are seen to embody the highest form of entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity and social consciousness. Inductees into the hall are chosen for their distinguished accomplishments in business and philanthropy within Cape Breton.

Each year scholarships and bursaries are awarded in honour of the inductees to Cape Breton University students who exhibit the same entrepreneurial drive, leadership and sense of community.
