Our hearts are broken to announce the death of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and sisterin-law Georgina ‘Georgie’ Gale onMarch 9, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Isabelle) and Kenny. Nana cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Ethan, Iyla, Charlie, Cameron and Brody. She is also survived by her sisters, Mickey (Frank) Kokocki, Joanne McDonald, Raylene (Paul) Drysdale, Earlene (Joe) Landry and Rose (Kevin) MacDonald, and brothers, Gary (Maggie), Tom (Gayle), Joe (Janice) and Cecil (Christine).

Georgie was predeceased by her loving husband, George; her parents; her sister, Barbara (Bernie) Arsenault, and brother-inlaw, Brian McDonald.

Visitation on Wednesday, March 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and funeral service Thursday at 10 a.m. with celebrant Andrew Chapman, both taking place at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel.
