Mary was one of thirteen children, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and came to Toronto in her 20’s. She last worked at The Elephant and Castle at the Eaton Centre. Anybody that knew Mom, knew she was always a character, always making people laugh. She loved the casino and her curling buddies. Leaving us on April Fool’s Day was appropriate. Mom had many friends in her lifetime, young and old. Her longest friend of over 65 years, Shirley Baker, was one of the best. Shirley’s children knew her as Aunt Nell.

We will carry your memory in our hearts forever. Cheers to ‘Red Mary’ as she was known at King Place.

Special thanks to the staff at King Place, Dr. Cochrane, GBGH staff, and her support workers.

A celebration of life will be held at Midland Curling Club on May 5, 2018, 1 to 4 PM. Please join us to celebrate a life well lived.
