Hospital auxiliary selling raffle tickets

BADDECK, N.S. — The Baddeck auxiliary of the Victoria County Memorial Hospital will be selling raffle tickets at the Victoria Farmer’s Co-Op in Baddeck this month. The winner of the draw will receive with $100 worth of lobster or a cash prize of $100, winner’s choice.

Tickets will be sold Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and May 2 from 1-6 p.m.

The fundraiser is part of the auxiliary’s annual May Community

Health Day Luncheon, Bake Sale and Health Expo. Funds raised from the event will go towards the purchase of equipment and items that promote patient comfort at the Baddeck hospital.
