It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Louise Williams on April 20, 2018 at the Glace Bay Hospital, Glace Bay. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vera (MacMullin) Caume. Louise was a resident of the Terrace Manor until her passing.

Louise was a superinten­dent for many apartments over the years in Ontario. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and darts and going to Bingo. She had quite a green thumb for plants. She loved animals, the peacefulne­ss and the beauty of nature.

Louise is survived by her son, Richard Cruickshan­ks (Sharon); daughters, Valerie Racanelli (Steve), Anna MacNeil (Jerry); her 10 grandchild­ren and 11 great grandchild­ren; brothers, John (Aurora), Jerry (Karen), Wayne, Dale (Cathy), Dana (Carol); sister, Muriel Waterfield (Murray); four godchildre­n, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predecease­d by her husband, Cecil Williams; brothers, Raymond Jr. and Blair, and nephew, Gregory.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist­s, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS 902-849-4199. Funeral Mass will take place 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, Main St., Reserve Mines with Father Daniel Boudreau officiatin­g. Burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery.
